Job Title: General Manager Masterbatch Sales

Job Description: General Management of Masterbatch business unit reporting to MD Mohinani Group Nigeria including;

commercial/business and sales management and overseeing Production 

Core requirements of this senior leadership position are:

Good leadership ability, leading teams is essential in challenging environments

Experienced manager in both commercial and technical role

Ability to grow the business, previous experience in business start is an advantage

Experienced in Sales and Marketing; a core focus of this role (50%)

Strong commercial management skills and experience

Technically astute and experienced in Masterbatch ? knowledge of industry and new product formulations is advantageous

Resource Management ? will be responsible for permanent and contracted employees



Main Outputs and Responsibilities

Preparation of Manufacturing Budgets, Regular Monitoring against key parameters and initiating corrective actions

Preparation of regular MIS and review for corrective steps 

Improvement in Productivity, cost reduction, waste reduction and quality enhancement

Managing and motivating diverse teams for achieving performance excellence

Innovation, R&D and deployment of relevant and best processes 

Developing Product Costing basis with support of Finance 

Drive marketing and Sales, enabling Sales Teams to pitch for B2B sales / channel sales as required

Identifying best sources of suppliers for spares / relevant equipment?s across globe and also to have a good idea of the cost of these

Identifying and Undertaking Improvement Projects / preparing the investment proposals, developing the Return of Investment details etc. 

Astute in commercial aspect of business management

Understanding and training his staff on the key commercial aspects which will enable cost control at all levels

Broad understanding of the market & ability to bring innovation in the Products / develop new products as per market opportunities

Broad understanding of P&L for his businesses

Minimum Education: Graduate - Degree

Work Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Salary: USD
48,000 - USD
60,000 / Annum
