Job Title: Production Manager - Woven Sacks

Job Description: Machines: W&H, Lohia Tape Lines, Lamination Lines, Roto Printing, Looms, Converting Line

Manpower Handling: 500 Employees



Job Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

Oversee and manage the entire woven sacks production process, ensuring smooth operations across Tape Extrusion, Weaving, Lamination, Printing, Loom, and Converting lines.

Plan, organize, and optimize production schedules to meet targets for quality, efficiency, and delivery timelines.

Implement Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and 5S methodologies for operational excellence.



2. Machine & Process Optimization:

Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of W&H and Lohia machines.

Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to reduce waste, improve productivity, and enhance machine efficiency.



3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:

Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Work closely with the Quality team to reduce defects, rejections, and improve product consistency.



4. Manpower Management:

Lead a team of 500 employees, ensuring proper training, motivation, and skill development.

Coordinate with HR to handle workforce planning, recruitment, and performance evaluations.



5. Inventory & Cost Control:

Monitor raw material usage, optimize inventory levels, and minimize wastage.

Control production costs while maintaining product quality and delivery commitments.



6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and environmental regulations in the plant.

Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for employees.



7. Reporting & Coordination:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and present insights to senior management.

Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.



Key Skills Required:

Strong technical knowledge of Woven Sacks manufacturing, W&H and Lohia machines

Expertise in Lamination, Printing, Loom, and Converting processes

Experience in handling large-scale manpower (min 300 employees)

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and team management abilities
