Description: Plastic waste was collected from industries and land filling sites.

This was processed with Nano additives and other filler materials, in various

proportions. Sheets were made out of it through Extrusion or Compression Press. Samples from these were analysed under XRF and SEM to measure the atomic composition and to study the behaviour of additives in composite respectively. Tensile and Impact test were carried out on these sheets, to estimate its strength. Initial compositions were altered to achieve the desired result. Applications of the new Nano Composites were laid as per the ASTM standards.

Key Learning: Gained exposure in processing of polymer waste and executing various innovative ways for its usage in Automobile and Construction Industry.
