Industrial Visits ?PG

Indian Rubber Products (IRP), Chennai. 

Observed various rubber processing techniques for making rubber components used in automobiles, especially for heavy duty vehicles. 

Alliance Tire Group (ATG), Tirunelveli and TVS Tyres, Madurai.

Observed manufacturing of off-road tyres from raw materials, testing of finished tyres and quality inspection in ATG and observed manufacturing of two wheeler tyres and tubes, testing and quality inspection in TVS tyres.



Projects Done 

M.Tech Project 

Title: Studies on EPDM reclaim vulcanizates containing fly ash.

Description: The objective of the project is to make an engineering material out of reclaimed EPDM rubber and fly ash. 

The above project work was presented at International Conference on Rubber and Rubber like Materials (ICRRM) ? 2013, held at IIT Kharagpur. 



Final year project (UG) 

Title: Design and fabrication of squeeze casting setup and experimental analysis of hollow casting. 

Description: The objective of the project was to find if it is possible to make components with intricate profiles using squeeze casting process and to experimentally find the best parameter. 



In Plant Training (UG) 

Underwent training at Maruti Suzuki Training Centre, Coimbatore on MPFI technology for ten days as part B.E curriculum.
