Completed & Submitted Final Year Industrial Training Project With Title ?Moving an Object

Using Image Processing?. 

Details: - This project is based on the concept of Image Processing.

In this I have controlled a Vacuum cleaner (Object) using my Hand gestures by the help of Image Processing

In front of a Image processor a virtual frame was setup by the help of a Web Cam.

Then I have divided the whole frame into 5 parts as follows:-

Upper middle part- Whenever my hand moves in front of that portion my vacuum cleaner start moving in forward direction.

Lower Middle part-Whenever my hand moves in front of that portion my vacuum cleaner start moving in backward direction.

Leftmost Portion - Whenever my hand moves in front of that portion my vacuum cleaner start moving in Right direction.

Rightmost Portion-Whenever my hand moves in front of that portion my vacuum cleaner start moving in Left direction.

Middle Portion- Whenever my hand moves in front of that portion my vacuum cleaner Stops Moving.

Technology Used: Visual C++, Arduino Programming, Image Processing, 

My Role: Programmer (Scratch to End).

Developed a Windows 8 App at Microsoft Windows8 AppFest called as Learn2Drive.

Completed my 2nd year Summer Training of 6 weeks from Honeywell Automation India Limited (HAIL) at Indira Gandhi International Airport.



Worked on the Project of IT-BMS (Building Management System) on I.G.I Airport, New Delhi.

Detail: -This project is based on Automation. It has been implemented to automate various systems like HVAC?s, AHU?s, CCTV systems, etc. at I.G.I, Airport by HAIL. In this I have worked on H/W as well as S/w part and learner the automation technology that was implemented over there.

Technology used: -HAIL IPC?s Programming, SQL.

My Role:-To work and learn Automation Technology and Helping in rectifying the faults.



Worked on the project BUS MONITORING SYSTEM USING GSM MODEM

Details: - The main motive behind this project was to create a system which can monitor the Buses for Transport system like DTC so that passenger can get to know by just one SMS that where is the next Bus which he/she likes to board for their destination. It also let them know how much time it?s going to  take to Reach his/her stop.

In this message of passenger goes to the DTC panel setup with one GSM modem and that retrieves the Bus location by a message retrieved from another modem placed on the bus and after that forward the Location and estimated time of the bus to reach the passenger?s Bus Stop.  

Technology Used: -Java, AT Hayes Protocol, Hyper V terminal.

My Role: -As it was an Individual Project I handled each and every task.
