Project Title : Optimal Design of Interface Bracket for Mounting A Flight Unit in an Aerospace Vehicle

Location : Research Centre Imarat (DRDO), Hyderabad.

Description: Flight unit is one of the critical component used in flight vehicle to steer it in its intended path. Fundamental frequency of Flight unit is 60Hz. Mounting structure should be designed so that the structural frequency should be twice that of the Fundamental frequency of the Flight unit. It is therefore intended to make a optimally designed structure which meets the operational requirement of Flight unit. Aluminum alloy has been used for the mounted structure. The optimally designed mounting structure was analyzed with airframe in assembly condition simulating the test Boundary conditions. The results obtained were meeting the mounting requirements of Flight unit.

Project Title: Upgradation Of Electric Discharge Sawing Machine

Location: Midhani, Hyderabad.

Description: EDS is a Non-Conventional cutting process in which a dielectric liquid is poured on to the work piece of an electric conducting material. The Upgradation is made to cut the ingots of 1000mm diameter on the basis of 600mm diameter EDS Machine
