Field Of Interest

Production:

Planning day-to-day activities, production schedules, implementing 5 S & 3C tools and allocating work for achieving of monthly production targets.

Minimizing performance bottlenecks for achieving high productivity with optimization of men, material & machine.

Appraising the prevalent production systems/ processes, identifying loopholes if any and undertaking result-oriented measures for alleviating them.



Process Planning

Planning, implementation & monitoring of technological changes to enhance productivity.

Modifications in equipments, process flow, working practices, consumables, power etc for controlling & reducing conversion cost per unit produced.

Executing cost saving techniques/ measures and modifications to achieve substantial reduction in O&M expenditures and work within the budget.



VA/VE/ Operations

Implementing inventory control measures to reduce obsolete stock keep tab on slow-moving items and achieve reduction in inventory management cost.

Undertaking VA/VE (Value-Engineering) initiatives at the suppliers end to reduce cost of rejection of the material supplied.

Overseeing house-keeping, safety as well as shop-floor operations.



Product Development

Interfacing with R&D for necessary modifications in component design.

Preparing technical proposals, product structures and drafting Technical Operation Standards based on original design inputs to facilitate smooth mass production.

Facilitating new product development initiatives with key focus on QCD (Quality, Cost & Delivery)
