Project Work

Study of light weight foamed polymer concrete.

Project Summary 

In this project we made light weighted foamed polymer cement concrete with addition of natural rubber as polymer constituent and then foamed the entire concrete mixture with the use of aluminium powder as a foaming agent. The concrete mixture was foamed to reduce its density and natural rubber was added to compensate for the loss in properties due to foaming.

Company: Renata Precision Components Pvt Ltd.

Training period: 4 weeks.

Learned about injection moulding of automobile, electrical and electronics component, metal stamping for insert moulding, insert moulding, two-shot (2k) injection molding.
