Maintenance Of Mechanical, Electrical And Hydraulic Components Of M/c



HYDRAULICS

The hydraulic side consist of number of valves such as flow control, pressure control, directional conrol. The m/c operates under a pressure of 2850 psi. The pressure proportional and flow proportional valves are provided such that the m/c can operate under variable range of pressure and speed. For the safety of m/c various reducing valves are provided for individual functions. For the overall safety of the m/c main relief valve is provided. Beside these several direction control valves and check valves are al so provided We generally use axial piston pumps (fixed/variable) to deliver flow.



ELECTRICAL 

To drive the pump induction motors are used. The induction motor comes under various range of power pack according to the size of m/c. M/C operates under a PLC system. It consists of in put and out put modules which control the m/c. The control system is regulated by a power supply unit of 24 volt. To start the motor company is using star-delta starter. For various functions the m/c is provided with miniature circuit breakers(mcb), relays (SSR, Glass relays. Olr), Current transformer(ct), Band heaters, Thermocouples (j&l types), Fuses (Glass fuse, hrc ), arc suppressers.

For operate several valves the m/c is provided with amplifier cards, connecters, lvdt

As a testing engineer, I have to calibrate the machine. If any problem arises during calibration then I have to solve them. At last we have to issue an ok tested certificate.

During all these process the machines hydraulic and electric circuits are required and we have to follow them strictly. So I can trace and read hydraulic and electric circuits.
