B.E. Project Details: ?

Title: Optimization of warpage in core cap.

The aim of the project was to minimize the warpage in core cap by virtual simulation in Autodesk Moldflow Plastics Insight 2013. Product was first modeled in CATIA V5. The modeled part was imported in moldflow. The results were obtained from various analyses carried out in moldflow by designing different cooling circuits, varying the process parameters such as packing pressure and time, melt temperature, flow rate etc. and then varying the filler percentage in the material.
