Since January, 2007 in a company engaged in manufacture of Protective Packaging material : ABF, EPE, XLPE, FOAM, Lamination, Fabrication etc

 

RESPONSIBILITY:

Setting up the system for optimum material handling within the plant. 

To keep all equipment in desired standards and make sure for highest level of productivity with quality standards.

Continuous development in the process to give cost reduction effect.

Closely monitoring the overall activities in the plant for cost reduction in manufacturing expense product wise by suggesting, best manufacturing practices/ first pass yield/ compounding, etc.

Standardisation of all the processes and quality standard with appropriate manufacturing processes.

Design the system for minimum scrap generation & utilising it fully.

Continuous focus on customer complaint and process to avoid repetition by initiating appropriate action.

Technical training of all employees of the department to upgrade their functional requirement.

To ensure 100 % utilisation of fixed manhours during non operation of the main equipment.

Operating instruction through job card / work instruction / display to all plant operating person.

Operational trouble shooting and ensure smooth functioning of the department.

Admin control of the deployed manpower in the depts. to ensure discipline in the department.

Reconciliation of monthly stock in the depts..

ACHIEVEMENT: 

Total machine commissioning of XLPE with Korean Experts 

Also machine commissioning of EPE, ABF, Lamination.

Handling total commissioning of Fire Hydrant, Air Handling, Lift Handling System.

Implementation of 5 ?S? Systems on Shop Floor. 



Shift- incharge in Extrusion coating dept.

SHREE RAMA MULTITECH LTD., AHMEDABAD 

Since Sept. 2003 to Dec 2007 

Facility of Multilayer Blown Film plant, Extrusion coating, Slitting, Printing, Tubing, Monolayer Tube, Paper cup, sticker. Mainly related with Lami-Tube production.

Working with German expert (Elect/Mech/Process) about 1 year for the commissioning of 7 layer extrusion m/c of (ER-WE-PA) DAVIS STD. 

Develope new product in flexible packaging (Pharma, oil, Lead, Cosmetics etc)

Implementation of kaizen system in lamination department

With facility for producing all type of cables. Worked as a production supervisor, in Light Duty cable, Jelly filled Telephone cable, Power cable, Co-Axial cable and Fiber Optic cable production.
