Cleaning Chemical using Biodegradable Surfactants (8 weeks)

Successfully formulated the Carpet & Dish washer cleaning chemicals, using biodegradable

surfactants, more efficient compared to competent industrial products.

Studied surfactant science and developed an understanding of foaming ability of a surfactant from

its molecular structure and ionic nature.

Worked on pseudo-viscous glass cleaning chemicals, to overcome the chemical degradation of

rubber sheets.

Chitosan Silver Nanocomposite (6 months)

Microwave assisted synthesis of Chitosan Silver nano composite and studied its antibacterial

activities. Characterization of chitosan nanoparticles, silver nanoparticles and chitosan-silver

nanocomposite using FTIR, XRD, SEM and Zeta potential tests.



Department of Polymer and Process Engineering, IIT Roorkee

Electrochromic Materials Made of Metallosupramolecular Polymer (Ongoing)

Presently working on the synthesis of conjugating polymer-transition metal ion based hybrid

electrochromic(EC) films and study their characteristics.

Actively volunteered in sport activities like Volleyball, Cricket, Football etc. participated in inter house

games,Departmental football league, Departmental cricket league, Inter Bhawan games and inter

year kabaddi tournaments.
