Presently working with a leading company as a Design Engineer from Dec. 2004 till date.

Nature of Job and responsibilities:

? The tasks involved, Analyze component drawing for Tolerances used for draft shrinkage, warpage and modality of the given mold. Deciding the parting plane, Core ? Cavity extraction, building of mold base ejector assembly, manifold for hot sprue, design drawings of the tool.

? Review of the mold and Die Designs with the Assembly team, to make understand the Design concept, tolerances given for assembly fitments and standard items. Before the molds are manufactured, and if necessary getting ideas and suggestions to overcome the problems in advance, and complete the projects without problems in short time.   

? Meet and Discussing with planning engineer about the priority list for manufacturing the parts (Inserts) those are to be manufactured first and later, depending upon the (job) complicacy and change over requirements.      

? Assembly and Debug of Precision Automotive Connector Hot runner Moulds and the cold runner molds and high speed Dies.

? Qualify Moulds and a die, completing the project by means all activity like FAIR qualification run as per customer?s requirements. 

? Maintain Documents like tool history card and trail results and improvements made for particular moulds.

? Coordinate with different Department peoples to meet the target dates.

? Giving feed back to Assembly Department for any changes that are made during qualifying particular projects 

? Coordinate with customer internationally like, Germans, US, Malaysia & Singapore to meet their Mould functional and part issues that are mentioned in the project agreement book.



Worked as an Engineer from Nov. 2002 to Aug. 2003 with Sri Murugan Industries

Sri Murgan Industries are manufacturers of food processing machineries. They are the licensees for CFTRI, Mysore. Their customers are small-scale food processing dealers to large-scale food products manufacturers. They supply machineries to all over India. They fabricate machines like Leaf cup Machines, Pappad press, Dhall mills, Destoners, maize mills etc.

Nature of Job and responsibilities:

? New designs for different food processing machineries

? Modification of existing designs for the customer requirement

? Detailing of the modification designs and development of sheet metal works.

? Discuss with fabricators for good manufacturing and aesthetics.

? Ordering for required materials from dealers 

? Attending seminars and Exhibitions

? Installation machines and giving tests of the machineries.  Etc.

Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI)
