Synopsis:?Due to typical structure of CNT with high aspect ratio and anisotropic structure, carbon nanotubes show characteristic mechanical, electrical and thermal properties The problem with nano tube is its agglomeration, uniform dispersion and the challenge of creating strong interface bonding between filler particles and polymer matrix. Nano tube surface modification promotes intimate contact between polymer chains / nano tubes and hence improves CNT dispersion.
