Leading the Supplier quality Engineers to ensure that Parts quality objectives are met. 

Supplier selection. 

Managing data of potential suppliers. 

Conducting supplier audit for the purpose of supplier evaluation during supplier selection. 

Managing PPAP and quality process analysis for launch, cost reduction, quality improvement activities and efficiency improvement. 

Executing the elements of Advanced Quality Planning including the elements like Supplier meeting, Supplier Process Readiness review, approval of Supplier PPAP and Supplier Process Sign Off. 

Participation in Quality Problem solving, quality strategy from the advanced quality planning stage to mass production of components. 

Review of Supplier capability studies and document the results for all program characteristics, and ensure that Customer and internal requirements are met (or a written Customer deviation is obtained). 

Responsible to review and approve Supplier PPAP packages for submission and approval by the Customer. 

Conducting supplier quality rating and timely appreciation of supplier for best contribution. 

To attend plant level quality reviews to provide support on SQA matters. 

To develop synergy within all commodity and group members to enhance performance of SQA & faster response to internal customer concerns. 

Conducting process improvements and training at suppliers end for quality improvement. 

To ensure enhancement of competencies of officers through training, counselling, guiding, projects, etc. 

To ensure Planning & conducting periodic supplier audits. 

To prepare the annual budget for overall activities related to parts quality. 

To manage design change activity for improvement of any component. 

To manage design change activity at suppliers end whenever there are any changes in design. 

Identification of suppliers components that need focused audit in order to get all parts in STU (ship to use) status. 

Quality approval Planning for upcoming projects.
