The objective of this project work is to design and develop an NBR compound for O-ring in automotive application to meet the following properties

Tensile strength (125 Kg/sq.cm)

Elongation at break (Minimum 250%)

Compression set (Maximum 20%)

Tear strength (Minimum 35Kg/cm)
