Initiate plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, energy and capital.



Planning:

Collaborate with both R&D and Business Development under the guidance of the Manufacturing Head in new product designs, coordinating customer requirements with manufacturing cost and feasibility



Production:

Develop all necessary policies and procedures to ensure that the Plant, equipment and the resources are effectively utilized to ensure maximum production efficiency and quality targets are achieved as per plan.

Plan and ensure adherence to preventive and predictive maintenance schedule and obtain highest degree of customer satisfaction.

Process Excellence:

Lead in implementation of new systems and process improvement measures like Kanban, Kaizens, Pokayoke, 5S etc. at the Plant

Forming CFTs in the Plant to address specific issues or to undertake improvement projects in the Plant to ensure cross- functional participation in process/product improvement.



Cost Savings:

Ensure reductions in scrap cost, in- process wastage cost, maintenance cost, Energy cost, etc.
