D7TM is a project from Tata Motors and team is responsible for complete seat with styling for a premium XUV which is based on Freelander?s II generation platform. Right now the project in RFQ stage and due to confidentiality policies can not disclose the information.

B562 India :

B562 India is a project of Ford Motors. It?s a compact sedan. I?m responsible for foam and plastic design. Project is at production stage.

Job Profile :?

Automotive Sheet metal, Plastic and Casted Products design, development and manufacturing. In which 5 months onsite support for Advanced Engineering projects.

Roles and Responsibilities

Design and development of Automotive Engine Cooling Module and Engine Mounted Components in Advanced Engineering Dept. (R&D) using Catia V5.

Engine cooling and Engine mounted components include sheet metal, injection moulding and plastic parts.

Prototype Part Structure creation for complete cooling module.

Thermodynamic calculations of Heat exchangers using BISS (Integrated Simulation System)

Responsible for Benchmarking Projects

Team centre - ?Activities with PDM and PLM software's like EDM (Engineering Data Management) and GTA

Professional Projects

Tube bundle EGR:?

It is an Aluminium EGR in which, the tube ?fin arrangement is so made that it is a shell less Heat exchanger. It is also called as W type EGR cooler. The complete cooler is one shot brazed in a Nocolock Brazing Furnace.?



Onsite (Stuttgart, Germany) Projects:

Oil cooler EGR integrated Module:?

This was a project for GM. We had integrated the EGR and Oil cooler (Transmission oil cooler) modules and placed on single plate having coolant channels at the bottom for coolant flow. This leads to a cost effective as well as space effective solution. There was large scope for casted and sheet metal component design.



Header Development Project:

Header is a sheet metal part used in Radiators, Charge air coolers, EGR coolers etc. which holds the tubes and fin assembly in particular fashion to maintain the pitch of the tubes. Header for Radiator and CAC was developed for TCT (Thermo cycle test) and Pressure test. In this project our team has developed Trapezoidal, Trapezoidal Slim, Endless, Tie Rod, Deep tie rod, Slim Tie Rod, Trapezoidal Tie Rod types of Headers. Design is done using Catia V5?
