job Profile: 

Daily test data (mainly rheometric data) monitoring of the mixed compound and ensure to control the test date within green band.

New Compound Development (In?house) with collaboration of  R&D centre .

New compound/modified compound industrialization with minimum number of trial run.

New raw material industrialization with collaboration of R & D centre.

Assist Radial & Bias tyre Engineering team for reduction in cured and green tyre scrap related to compound.

Coordination with Heat Engineer for setting the cure cycle in accordance to compound rheo properties.

Responsible for change in regular production compounds ? Initiation/Validation & Implementations

Responsible for keeping a track on raw material quality with respect to processing and provide feedback to suppliers (through HOD/Purchase). 

Documentation on development/industrialization related compound and raw material.

Documentation on all compound PHR specification.

Workout mixing productivity improvement plans through cycle time optimization and process implementation (by different types Kaizen)

Disposition of non-conforming compound and arrange corrective and preventive action plan.

Handling all shop floor related issues.  



Academic Projects:

Preparation of starch-gelatin/clay composite film under the guidance of Dr. Dipankar Chattopadhyay, Department of Polymer Science and Technology, University of Calcutta.



Industrial Projects:

A six week training in Studied the effect of chloro butyl reclaim rubber & performance properties in chloro butyl rubber based automotive inner tube compound in Hasetri under the guidance of Dr. Samar Bandhopadhay.
