Design and development from initial concept to product design through to manufacturing and product launch of Interior and exterior plastic parts such as door trims, pillar trims and assemblies based on tooling feasibility, environment data, Master sections, styling data or reference data by using CATIAV 5.

Project#1: Design of Map pocket (Interior door trim)

Software: CATIA V5

Position: Jr Design Engineer



Description: Using CATIA V5

Created a surface with the given Cass surface or styling surface.

Developing tooling direction to ?A? surface and Performing Draft Analysis for checking tangency errors with given tooling direction.

Recommended 2D proposals for the Map pocket.

Generated the Engineering surface and Parting surfaces to obtain the closed body.

Developed engineering features on the final body as per the master section considering the environmental data.

Proposing the parting line and draft angle for the smooth clearing of core and cavity.



Project#2: Design of Door Substrate (Interior door trim)

Study and created A surface with given Cass surface or styling surface.
