1. From Nov 2002 - till date Working as Technologist - R & D (Research and development)	

Responsibilities

?  Developing new products keeping in view of the customer requirements and 

   cheaper alternates for the bought-out products.

?  Coordinating and providing technical support to the plant for the scale up of the 

    newly released formulations and assisting them in the standardization at PEL, 

    pilot plant and bulk level.

?   Coordinating the entire product development using DOE tools like ANOVA 

    including manufacturing procedures, finalizing process parameters, 

    specifications, designing and testing activities.

?   Understand the market dynamics and fine tune overall costing of the product so 

    as to maintain its profitability.

?   Dealing efficiently with the needs of the customers (internal/external) in case of 

    trouble shooting and respond with speed to develop effective solutions.

?   Conducting RCA/FMEA by way of DMAIC technique to get the root of the 

    problem/defect in the product and address the cause and corrective actions, not 

    just the symptoms of customer problems.

?   Improve customer service/satisfaction levels to positively impact sales.

?   Implementing quality standards by 5S (Japanese way of workplace 

    management) and adherence to ISO 9001, ISO 14000 and BSC quality norms.



Computer skills

Languages C, C++, and Good Proficiency in MS-Word, Power Point and Excel.
