Project Title: Fabrication of Super-Hydrophobic coating.

Abstract : Superhydrophobicity refers to the high water repellency exhibited by any surface. For example water droplet on the leaves of the lotus flower. Application of superhydrophobic surface could be found in anticorrosion coating, self cleaning coating, water proofing, flushless / waterless urinal etc. Inspire by the ?lotus-leaf effect? a lot of techniques have been developed to create superhydrophobic surfaces. The aim of the project is to create a coating with a surface morphology that mimics the morphology of the lotus-leaf. In the present investigation superhydrophobic surface was tried to fabricate.
