Overhead Console Centre.

Part development from input styling surface (Class A) & reference sections of Overhead Console Centre used in LCV Vehicle Cabin Interior Trims. Modeling of Class B & closing surface C. Feature designs like ribs, bosses, etc and also checking for Tooling feasibility.

Overhead Console Finisher.

Part development from input surface (Class A) of Overhead Console Finisher. Development of Class B and Class C surface. Tooling direction. Feature designs like locators, ribs, bosses, etc.

Development of Class B and closing section using Master Section Environments.

Academic Project:

Pneumatic Pick and Place Robotic Arm.

The aim of this work was to design and demonstrate a robotic arm with two degrees of freedom using readily available low-cost components to perform different object-picking tasks. The robotic arm consists of a elbow, wrist and a 2 jaw gripper. The actuator used for the robotic arm is a high torque dc motor coupled with a gear assembly for torque amplification. The arm can be controlled manually to perform a variety of object-picking tasks. A prototype of the robotic arm was constructed, and test results on a variety of object-picking tasks are presented.
