M.Tech Project: Effect of specialty fillers in typical Truck Tread, Passenger Car Tread & Sidewall Compounds. Done at Previous Company R&D centre (Advanced Materials Division), Electronics City, Bangalore.

An attempt has been made to understand the effect of various 3M specialty fillers in tire compounds by evaluating the physical, rheological as well as dynamic mechanical behavior of the 3M specialty filler incorporated tire compounds. Also arrived at the conclusion on the effect of 3M specialty fillers with irrespective of formulations so that different behavior of the fillers at different tire compounds can take for reference in future works.



B.Tech Project: ?Studies on the Characteristics of Polymer Compounds Used In the Manufacture of Blood Bags? Done at TERUMO PENPOL Limited, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.

Plasticized PVC is used for making blood storage containers since it have many advantages. The study was done on the characteristics of the various polymer compounds used in the blood bag manufacture such as for making sheets, tubes and injection moulding components. Studies were conducted on the processing condition and characteristics of each compound. Studies were made on the physical and chemical test for the compounds as per ISO-3826 international standards for blood bags.
