IIT Delhi Thesis:

Title ? To study the morphological, thermal, mechanical and tribological properties of MoS 2 lubricated PEK/Cenosphere composites.

Supervisor - Dr. Bhabani k. Satapathy

Description - The objective of the project is to incorporate metal dichalcogenides like MoS 2 in polyether ketone matrix as lubricants and cenosphere as reinforcement. The composite is processed in twin screw extruder and injection molded specimens are subjected to various mechanical and thermal testing. The tribological studies including steady state analysis and Taguchi analysis are performed.
