Study Of Folmulation Of PVC And ABS Blends And Its Testing:

AIM: To study the property enhancement, morphology and physicochemical character of Poly Vinyl Chloride (PVC) and Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) terepolymer blends under different composition and its Testing.



Conclusion:

PVC/ABS blend posses the properties like tensile strength, rigidity and flame retardancy of PVC and impact thermal stability of ABS

Since the blend posses excellent mechanical and thermal properties along with flame retardency it can be used in low tension electrical switches, plugs, knobs, it can also be used in pipes applications, automotive application such as automotive instrument panels, doors trim panels, knee bolsters, air bag doors and covers

PVC/ABS needs a compactiblizer
