Job Profile: 

Performing all inspection activities in accordance with the quality plan, procedures, applicable code, standards and specifications.

Familiar with different international standards i.e ASME Sec II, V, VIII, IX, ASME B31.3, API and other commonly used in the industries.

Responsible for the performance of welding, welding quality control and inspection of welding related operations, well conversant with various types welding process like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, FCAW and SAW etc.

In-service inspection: Pre-inspection, Detail-inspection, Post-inspection activities of static equipment?s like Pressure Vessels, Columns, Heat Exchangers, Fin Fans and piping along with witnessing tube plugging & Hydro test.

Inspection of Distillation Column equipment?s such as bubble cap trays, pall ring, demister pad, level bridal, mesh tray etc.

Testing of heat exchanger( Shell test/Ring test, tube test, overall test)

Witness, Check, Monitor and Inspect of hydro test as per General Requirements.

Carrying out Inspection on Piping and Pipelines for orientation, bolt tightening, gasket verification, spool verification etc. with relevant engineering drawings & specs.

Material Receiving inspection of all pipes and fittings, Gaskets, Valves, Flanges in compliance to material list, mill certificates, test reports and correct material specification?s.

Control of quality for piping fabrication such as fit-up, visual and dimensional inspection conforming to approved for construction drawings.

Inspection of welding fabrication and orientation of spools as per the Isometric drawings.

Coordinating inspection activities at site, keeping a track at progress and updating the same to client along with suggestion for improvement.

Review of WPS, PQR and welders qualifications as per ASME codes and project specification.

Ensuring that the welding procedure, welders and weld materials are qualified as per project requirements.

Review Material Test Certificates against the Purchase Order.

Make sure that activities should be done in accordance with standard codes of practice, applicable job specifications, QCP (quality control Procedures) implementation at the jobsite.

Experience in Welding activities for Skids, Pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers and Columns and cladding.

Performing all inspections during fabrication, installation/erection & welding (Before, during & after) of piping job according to drawing, codes & specifications.

Stage wise inspection for fabrication activities, fit-up, weld visual inspection.

Verifying the reports of MPT, UT, IRIS, ECT, MFL, etc.

Radiograph interpretation for identification of Defects and Artifacts if any and verifying the found result as per the specified acceptance standard.

Complete Documentation & making final report of entire carried out inspection job.

To ensure and maintain work place safety and to comply with safety, health and environmental aspects.

Ensuring proper housekeeping and good condition of tools and tackles.
