Job profile -

Overall responsible for the Planning, Organizing & Controlling of the Projects and Plant Maintenance such as 

Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities, Civil work and Preventive maintenance for smooth operation of plant. 

To set the departmental objectives in line with quality policy and organizational objectives.

In addition to above acting as a Safety Advisor to comply the Safety requirements as per IS 14489:2018.  Daily monitoring on the Breakdown& consumption data such as power, fuel, water, overtime, spares & 

consumables consumption.  To ensure successful completion of Capex Projects, Process Improvement projects & new machine set-up.

P & ID, GA & Isometric Drawings approval and erection & commissioning of equipment as per plant layout.

To review and approve the documents such as SOP, WI, Checklists, Statutory requirements etc.

To review & improve of breakdown trends with maintenance team for the reliability of Plant.

To ensure proper maintenance of preventive & predictive as per plan for smooth operation of plant.

To ensure all mother equipment and standby equipment are in healthy condition.

Renewal of annual contract of vendors based on the effectiveness in services and cost involved.

Incorporation of new equipment and technology by giving Safety, Reliability and ROI approach.

To establish, maintain & update the ISO 22000 & 9001 Quality management systems requirements.

Cost Management:  To Establish and achieve departmental objectives such as Power, Fuel, Water, Spares cost, Uptime of Critical machines, Preventive Maintenance and On time Completion of projects. 

To participate in the cost committee meeting for company annual budget& cost cutting on expenses.

To Prepare, monitor and control of Expenses (CAPEX & OPEX) in relation to the annual Budget of engineering.

To control and eliminate the wastages by applying SGA and Kaizen.

Material Management:  Periodically review, monitor and control the status of the critical spares, consumables and chemicals consumption and its requirement.

To evaluate and develop the vendors for job works and indigenous spares of imported machines. 

Statutory and Legal Requirements:

To comply all statutory and legal requirements such as Electrical Inspector, MSEB, MPCB, Factory Inspector, PESO, 

Fire department and local bodies.

To ensure Testing and calibration of equipment & tools by NABL approved competent authority.

To Update and maintain the documents such as ISO 22000:2018.

Training and Development:

To ensure Employee development, motivation and multi-skilling through Training.

To conduct & give the training related to QMS & Plant safety.

Knowledge about the SAP system.
