Preparing and releasing final Purchase Order. 

Handling Import clearance of Raw Material / Machinery / Consumable Goods / Courier imports. 

Preparing Letter of Credit Documents, Remittance Documents and Updating Bills of Entry status for 

knockoff entries in IDPMS on time and other coordination with Banks like opening of irrevocable and confirmed Letter of Credit. 

Communicating & Coordinating with Custom House Agent (CHA) for early and smooth release of import consignments on DPD. 

Coordinating /Following up with overseas supplier or their Indian agents for Import shipment and Documentation. 

Verifying and Analysis of all import documents for smooth & speedy customs clearance. 

Preparing import process documents in a cost effective and responsible manner. 

Coordinating with Finance & Accounts for forecasting of import fund allocation, various bank 

documents and statutory payment. 

Identifying & negotiating with Freight Forwarding companies to optimize logistics cost and improve on service level. 

Handling Re-import transactions and Export of Defective parts back to overseas suppliers. 

Preparing documentation pertaining to shipments sold and purchased on High Seas basis. 

Working in ERP Environment. 

Monitoring & Proper Utilization of Duty Exemption Schemes to minimize the net landed cost of imports. 

Executing Legal Undertaking (LUT) with Customs towards various licences. 

BG. Bond cancellation of EPCG / Advance Licences.
