PROJECT UNDERTAKEN :-

Minor Project (7th Semester)

Title: Designing of Absorption tower

Absorption tower is generally used for mixing components of gas into components of liquid. It is generally of two types, packed and plate type. In designing of tower we calculate the height, diameter and number of plates used in tower.



Major project (8th Semester) 

Title: Designing of plant for the manufacturing of acrylonitrile 

Acrylonitrile is manufactured by polymerization reaction of acetylene and ammonia. In this we apply the material and energy balance to find out the quantity of acrylonitrile to be  

produced. To design the tower we used Macab Thiele method.



INDUSTRIAL TRAINING :-

July 05 ? August 05

Undergone 6 weeks industrial training at Lumax Automotive ltd. Plastic Divison located at IMT Manesar, Gurgaon.



July 06 ? August 06

Undergone 8 weeks industrial training at Maruti Udyog ltd. Paint Shop located at Gurgaon.
