Job profile  -

Directly responsible for daily shift production activity, manpower scheduling, machine 

Parameter setup, problem solving and qualitative and quantitative production in six layer extrusion coating lamination (Machine make- DAVIS STANDARD) process 

Reduction in process rejection of laminates using quality tools (RCA, Training, CAPA & OPL), productivity improvement and implementation of cost effective measures.

Inspections and perform all quality tests to ensure adherence to technical specifications and quality standard and reduce rejections.

To handle and minimize machine short stops, change-over, maintain Equipment Efficiency & quality standards with target quantity.

Execution of production planning & making daily production (ERP) entry and reports @ ORACLE.

Extrusion-die setting (die gap & air gap), m/c parameter setting, temperature setting to process the different polymers and providing technical solution to extrusion process.  

Training of new employee and ensure the proper follow ups of safety procedures to each and every team members.

Strictly adherence with ISO & BRCGS standards and proper follow-up of checklists, SOPs, HIAC, HACCP & also member of safety committee and internal audit team.

A member of commissioning team with Davis machine engineers and got training for various activities like feed-block installation(opening, cleaning, setting & fitting), die-lip installation & gap setting,  Barrel Screw opening, cleaning & installation, Adapter cleaning and installation, BST scanner calibration, Dancer & ideal roller calibration etc.

Directly involve in daily production activity in Extrusion coating, slitting & solvent free lamination.

Handling & scheduling manpower and monitoring the process of Extrusion Lamination, Solvent base & less lamination and Slitting.

Providing technical solution to operator for product development and problem (high edge, gauge bands-humping, creases, knurling, edge tear, poor adhesion / De-lamination, overheating, gels and voids, neck-in & flickering, loose winding, GSM variation, polymer degradation) encountered during the process.

Packaging  trials of modified grades of  3 Layer laminate( PET+ Ext. PE+MET PET, PET+ Ext. PE+HS MET BOPP, PET. +Ext. PE+MET CPP, PET.+ Ext. PE+ PE, TPT BOPP+ Ext. PE+MET CPP, PET.+ Ext. PE+AL. FOIL, PAPER+ Ext. PE+AL. FOIL) films jointly with local and outbound customers.

Development for new raw materials (polymers, films, papers and other consumable & non-consumable items) in the laminate formulation for better result and product quality. 

Coordinated for new product development and monitored good housekeeping/safety in the production area and endorsements of finish good to warehouse.
