Overall Plant Maintenance/Mechanical Incharge 

Operation and Plant Maintenance Engineer at an 20MW power plant with 4000TPD sugar plant 

Ensuring the availability of the machinery and supporting utilities to achieve the monthly production targets. 

Operating PM Program to all critical and non-critical machinery inside the plant as per the PM Schedule and maintaining proper checklists.

Maintaining Critical Spares to all machinery and managing the inventories within the budgeted value.

Preparing and maintaining all machinery validation documents and history card Implementation for each machinery. SOP Development. Red Tag Implementation.

Support reduction in breakdown through Preventive / Predictive maintenance compliance of all utilities and process equipment etc.

Making daily visits to the monitoring section for observing running performance of Machinery and Utilities (Compressors, Chillers, Boilers, AHU, VAM, Cooling Towers, STP,ETP) and taking corrective action as and when required as per SOPs.

To ensure compliance with legal statutory requirements for Boiler Inspection, Pollution control Board, Safety inspecting visits with coordinate Electrical.

Knowledge of TPM, OEE, Spares Management, Breakdown Handling, MTTR/MTTF Calculations, RCA, FMEA, Why Why analysis, CAPA, KEIZEN.

Coordinate internally with the other departments of the plant to ensure timely availability of resources.

Floating inquiries, gathering quotations and making the indents on appropriate suppliers.

I am a Trained / Authorized 6S, Safety Light House Project, Work Permit Leader, Lifting Equipment and Work at height Champion, for all the Mechanical Activity.

Contacting and coordinating with Service contract persons coming under the Annual Maintenance Contract for certain machinery/equipment.

Acknowledging breakdown memo intimations from other departments and initiating work allotment through subordinates, fitters or contract workmen.

Making safety environment by assisting ASA, Near Miss, and UAUC.
