Project (2004-2005): 2D Flow through a channel having square obstructions using FLUENT-GAMBIT package In this project the flow pattern across the channel having square obstructions was analyzed with the help of computational fluid dynamics (CFD). After that the optimum distance between the obstructions were calculated, for which the heat transfer is maximum. The design work was done using GAMBIT software and separate analysis was done using FLUENT 6.0 software. 2) Summer project (2004): Design of a Telephone Base using Pro-E software Pro-E is one of the widely used CAD/CAM softwares in designing and manufacturing field. In this project a 3D solid model of a telephone base was developed and core/cavity extraction part was done using the same softeware. 3) Summer project (2003): Design and Manufacturing of a KEY-RING. Using the AUTO CAD package, first the key-ring model was developed. Then using different machining operations the core and cavity part were manufactured.
