Job Profile:

Design Associate for various energy metering product (E.g. Grid meter, Pre paid meter, Calibrator, panel meter etc) 

Responsible to prepare product component specification 

Responsible to develop 3D Models through Top down and Bottom up Design methods in CAD software called Solid Works 

Responsible to provide inputs and feedbacks to vender related to plastic mould development 

Responsible for R&D of new Backlighting technology for the LCD in Communication Projects 

Carries out Conceptual design, product detailing, detailed design of the product to meet the manufacturing, cost, compliance, transportation & storage objectives of the product. 

Responsible for preparing Design Library for various standard parts like Transformer cap, Nut, Screw, washer, Keypad, CFB packing etc 

Carried out mechanical Testing for Energy meters. (For example: Ingress Protection test, Vibration test, spring hammer test, Torque test, Temperature rise test etc. 

Responsible for Configuration & QA audits 

Responsible to develop proto shop for making proto sample of conceptual model of meters 

Member of CMMI Task force, aim to achieve CMMI level 5 by the company 

Appreciation award for preparing Design Library for standard parts
