Presently working with a leading company : subsidiary of of the leading manufacturers of interconnect products in the world. The company designs, manufactures and markets electrical, electronic and fiber optic connectors, coaxial and flat ribbon cable and interconnect systems. Main business in the field of defense, Aerospace & Tele-Communication. 

A tool room - manufacturing plastic moulds (injection, compression and transfer up to 100 ton), aluminium pressure die casting dies and sheet metal press tools for various connector products using the latest CAD/CAM technology. 

JOB PROFILE:

Completely responsible for technical functioning of the department having 4 design engineers 

Planning, scheduling, documentation, distribution of work and follow up. 

Giving technical inputs and tool design concept to design engineers 

Development of prototype samples 

Designing of plastic Injection moulds, press tools, jigs & fixtures 

Experienced in trial and proving of moulds & press tools. 

Working with product designers during initial component design to help achieve cost effective tooling. 

Implemented 3D mould tool design and integrated this technology into the tool room with the aim of achieving a paperless environment.
