The company is dealing with a wide range of engineering products right from storing solution for domestic and commercial premises to net work power solution for giant power generating organizations. Some divisions are also known by the brand name Liebird, Fisher regulators and Valves, EMERSON Motor Co, Copeland, ASCO valves etc.



Job Profile:

Reporting to Country Director Supply Chain Management Asia Pacific and Director Quality and Technology Asia Pacific 

New Supplier Assessment. 

Evaluate the conformance of quality management systems based on the check sheet derived from standard guideline of ISO 9000 and TS 16949. 

Calibrate suppliers for lacunae in QMS and propel them to initiate time bound improvement plan. 

Re assess the supplier to understand the effectiveness of CAPA 

Upload the audit results on quick base for the ready reference of entire division. 

Perform First article inspection for the developing parts before shipment, according to the division specific guideline to reduce down the magnitude of inspection process and to overcome the delays in decision making. 

Process improvement. 

Address the quality issues communicated by the division and generate time based improvement plan. 

Visit supplier and conduct thorough process analysis to investigate the root cause by applying various quality tools like Pareto analysis, cause and effect diagram etc.

Co ordinate teleconferences with supplier and divisions on the action generated for quality issues reported. 

Monitor the effectiveness of implemented actions and communicate the results to division accordingly. 

Drive supplier up gradation program. 

Division demand specific activity as the scope covers the supplier ability enhancement Conduct assessment audit. 

Co ordinate meetings and conferences with top management to ensure their involvement. 

Calibrate them about the consequences if not address. 

Obtain training needs and ensure execution. 

Monitor the progress and provide updates to division. 

Engagement with India divisions. 

Conduct class room and on site training sessions on Emerson Supplier Audit Check sheet in perspective of aligning and generating common platform for supplier. 

Resolved quality issue of a very high volume (70k / week) thermo setting plastic part for CANADA based division THERM-O-DISC. Division is benefited with the saving of US $0.40 / piece by continuing buying from the same supplier.
