Job Profile:

1. Design Engineering 

- Developing process parameters, testing techniques and design changes to improve the  

  quality of the production tools & reducing rate of rejection & re-work. 

- Coordinating the entire product development including requirement analysis, finalising 

  parts specifications, designing manufacturing system, gages /tooling/machines, etc. 

- Designing the electrical motor for Ceiling, Table, Wall and Pedestal Fans; preparing   

  prototypes samples for various domestic and export new models. 

- Conducting market study of competitors new releases; responsible for new models 

  manufacturing in prototype method (T-0, T-1, T-2) up to productionizing. 

- Formulating both electrical and mechanical specifications on par with buyers specification; 

  organizing preparation of component drawings, BOM, document & data control. 

2. Development & Tooling 

- Ascertaining requirements of material for development activities & interfacing with vendors 

  for cost effective, timely sourcing of quality material. 

- Developing jigs & fixtures as per predefined specifications; undertaking testing/ inspection 

  of jigs & fixtures, identifying defects & making relevant modifications. 

- Testing electrical parameters, analyzing the results and implementing corrective actions if 

  required. 

3. Production, Planning & Control 

- Inspecting 1st piece samples for identifying scope for improvement and finalisation of 

  further production plans & working on cost reductions based on material, machine,

  methods & redesign. 

- Organizing third party inspection for Export & Government supplies & implementing the 

  suggestions. 

4. Testing / Quality 

- Facilitating new product development initiatives with key focus on QCD (Quality, Control & 

  Delivery) by implementing latest tools like TPM, TQM, 5S, etc. 

- Executing process efficiency enhancement projects; conducting Internal Audits and 

  ensuring compliance to ISO standards.
