Initial site visits for layout engineering. 

Review client specifications and requirements. 

Preparation of approval drawings & documents. 

Planning & scheduling of design activity. 

Conveyor calculations & validation. 

Selection of motors, reducers, geared motors, guides, conveyor lubricators, lubricants etc 

Designing of assemblies & sub-assemblies like drive, take-up, pushers, Positioners, conveyor chain etc. 

Preparation of Power, Power/free layouts, Pneumatic piping layouts, Field mounting layouts, Header & hanger layouts. 

Provide draftsmen sufficient technical data to produce detail drawings and approve the same for release. 

Interdepartmental co-ordination & co-ordination with manufacturing. 

Performance Monitoring and system tuning during factory trials. 

In house Testing & giving client inspections for integrated equipments which includes drives, take-ups and other assemblies.

Instrument panel assembly & delivery conveyor (AM-1 IVA) for M/S Maruti Suzuki Automobiles India Ltd-Manesar: This conveyor is a type of inverted power & free floor conveyor designed for assembly line. 

Transfer table for M/S Maruti Suzuki Automobiles India Ltd-Manesar: This is a two level transfer conveyor which forms a part of engine storage system designed for automatic handling & storage of engines. 

Chain pusher conveyor for M/S Mahindra & Mahindra-Nasik: This conveyor is designed for synchronizing over head motrain with chassis line conveyor. 

AM3i over head conveyor supplied for M/S Yamaha Motors India Ltd-Noida: This conveyor is used for handling Mufflers & Plastic Parts at paint shop. 

Chain conveyor for M/S Maruti Suzuki Automobiles India Ltd: This conveyor also forms a part of engine storage system.

Projects handled: 

Wheel Roll Test Rig: This machine is specially designed and developed for fatigue testing of fighter aircraft wheel assemblies for Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.-Lucknow. Responsible for complete detail designing, drawings & documentation, client discussions & approvals, co-ordination with manufacturing, factory acceptance test (FAT), installation, site acceptance test (SAT) of the equipment. 

Bulk material handling equipments: Cleated Belt Conveyors, Belt Conveyors, Elevators for food products process industries like Monsanto India Ltd., Britannia biscuits etc for handling maize seeds, cashew nuts, biscuits, trash etc.Was responsible for conveyor calculations, generating bill of materials, co-ordination with manufacturing, factory acceptance test (FAT), installation, site acceptance test (SAT) of the equipment. 

Lift Jack: It is a Hydraulic Jack used to maintain the level of the vehicle at the same level as that of the loading platform. Was responsible for calculations, preparations of complete assembly & detail drawings. 

Weighing hopper: It weighs the amount of material, which is being Packaged and stops the packaging cycle when the specified weight has been attained. Was responsible for preparations complete assembly & detail drawings. 

Apart from the above job routine, I have also been actively involved in conducting annual maintaince contracts (AMCs), modifications of layouts, design of Mezzanine Floor, testing of Elevators, Conveyors, preparation of Manuals, anticipated failure analysis (AFAs), QAPs, test procedures, process planning etc.
