Design of bearings and bearing components as per the ISO std. and custom designs as per customer requirements. 

Product design & tooling design using advance cad tools like Pro-e wildfire 3.0 and AutoCAD. 

Design calculations, failure analysis and testing. 

Design validation using advance analysis tools such as LSDYNA & Pro-Mechanica, Ansys. 

Design database management and companies extensive ERP system, PDM-Link. 

To provide technical support for handling customer complaints / Failure product analysis and design implementation. 

To interact with customer R&D teams to understand requirements and propose appropriate technical solutions and product. 

Preparation of proposal drawings, product drawings and DFMEA. 

Sound knowledge of materials selection for product / tooling. 

Well versed with quality systems like APQP, T.S. etc. supporting various national international standards.

The cage is designed to suit larger rollers to be incorporated in the bearing in greater number and to provide roller guidance. 

Design and development of new bearing, two rollers in one pocket. 

Design osci.unit of super finishing machine of radial osci.motion to linear osci.motion.to super finishing head. 

The basic idea of Thielenhaus developed to achieve the result. 



Project #1 

Title: BLANK SIZE DETERMINATION AND TONNAGE REQUIREMENT. 

Environment: Hyperfrom (LSDYNA) 

Description: 

A multistage forming analysis of the thrust bearing roller separator cage was carried out for two successive forming stages. 

The objective of the forming analysis is 

To derive the press tonnage requirement for the forming operation. 

To achieve required profile with flatness. 

To determine the blank inner and outer diameters so as to avoid the outer and inner diameter trimming of the formed blank. 

The results obtained are experimentally validated and found in very good agreement with the practical results. Different inner and outer diameter dimensions were tried out in hyperfrom and optimal size is arrived at.
