Job Description: 

3D Solid & Surface modeling of pump components, solid modeling of General arrangement, API flush plan piping assembly, etc. using Solidworks software. 

Design & drawing of pump general arrangement, sectional, base plate, piping & part drawings using AutoCAD 2007. API 610 and API 682 standards used. 

Writing AutoLISP, Visual Lisp programs for design & drawing automation. 

Major Achievement: 

Prepared many solid models pump components of complex hydraulic shapes like 

volute case and impellers.

Handled many SPM projects. The work included designing & modeling of machine assembly in Mechanical Desk Top. 3D assembly model were then used to: 

1) Generate 2D GA drawing & sectional drawing, part drawings for production. 

2) To animate machine motion and sequence of operation using 3DStudio MAX. 

These animations were used for machine demonstration for the customers. 

Responsible for starting Cad Department and 3 draftsmen worked under me. 

Standardised all the work involving of design, drawing & documentation. 

AutoLISP programs programmed by me for designing various machine parts and assembly helped the organisation to reduce design & drawing time. And increased accuracy & consistency.
