Skill Sets: 
Primary Processing Knowledge:

Has sound knowledge of primary polymer processing M/C Viz., Injection Molding, Extrusion (profile, pipe, sheet, wire coating) molding, thermoforming, transfer molding, blow molding (stretch, /injection/extrusion) etc. Has In depth Knowledge of different processing parameters for variety of polymers & polymer processing M/C''s. Has excellent knowledge of different polymeric materials and their chemistry/properties/ morphology/behavior.

 

Primary Polymer Testing Knowledge:

Have sound Knowledge of testing instruments like Universal testing machine(UTM), Heat deflection temperature(HDT), Vicat softening temperature(VST), Impact Tester (izod/charpy), Brookfield viscometer, Drop Impact tester, testing composites, volume/surface resistivity, in depth knowledge of polymer rheology and viscoelasticity, polymer characterization instruments like GPC, Vapor phase osmometery, ebulliometry etc.

Project Performed: 

"Development of Wood Plastic Composite using Rice Husk as Filler" in Final Year of Degree in B.Tech Plastics under the guidance of Prof. Head Dr. Satyendra Mishra, Dept. Of Chemical Technology, North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon 

This project was aimed to develop a thermoplastic wood composite by utilizing agro waste material like rice husk. Virgin plastic material Polypropylene was used and was found compatible with rice husk and improvement was observed in mechanical properties of the plastic at higher filler percentage which was concluding remark of project

Has undergone in Plant Training at The Supreme Industries Ltd, Jalgaon ISO 9002 Plant during Prefinal Year of Degree in B.Tech Plastics 

The company manufactures ISO certified Quality products like Rigid PVC Pipes pipefittings. It has separate divisions of Pipe extrusion and injection molding with well-equipped pipe testing lab. It served as benchmark for practical and online experience of present plastic industry setup and to acquire some useful knowledge regarding processing and testing of plastic products.
