Work Experience Details: 
Currently working as a Research associate in the R & D Dept for Additives of plastic fibres, such as Lubricants & Antistatic agents for 2 years.

1) Manufacture of various lubricants to reduce fibre to fibre friction & fibre to machine  components friction while processing.

2) Antistatic agents manufacture to reduce the static charges developed by friction during processing of polymer through machines.

3) Product development of the above two involving improvement in stability & optimization of properties such as surface tension, wetting, conductivity, transmittance, FRICTIONAL PROPERTIES etc.



PROJECT : 

Project on coloured Polymeric Masterbatches under the Guidance of Dr. V.V.Shertukde; M.U.I.C.T (Matunga).

Processes involved were extrusion, injection moulding, compression moulding & compounding through batch mixer.

1) Preparation of polyethylene masterbatches involving pigments such as phthalocyanine blue, Rubine CAE (RED), ARYLIDIDE (Yellow 13) using twin screw extruder for extrusion.

2) Preparation of EVA masterbatches involving pigments such as phthalocyanine blue, Rubine CAE (RED), ARYLIDIDE (Yellow 13).

3) Application of above masterbatches in polypropylene & comparison between the two involving colour value, dispersiblity, surface stability, weather resistance etc.



In-plant training in Tyre Cord Plant ( Nirlon Ltd.) for 2 months.

1) Study of various equipments & processes involved in Polymerization plant, Depolymerisation plant, Effluent treatment plant, Nitrogen plant & textile plant. 

2) Tensile srength, Moisture content, Denier measurements of Nylon-6 fibres in the Textile lab.

3) Synthesis & Modification of Polyester (Road Marking) in the R & D Dept. 



Future Goals: 
Want to work in Technical Service, marketing, sales field for purely polymer driven companies.
