Preparation and Approval of QAP, Procedures etc., related to project. 

Planning, Training & Allocation of work for Q.C. Team. 

Inspection and Quality Control of Bought Outs such as Valves, Pumps, Blowers, Special purpose items such as Flocculators etc., 

Dealings with Customers / Third Party Inspection Agencies for clearance of respective project.

Job Responsibilities: 

Participation in the contract review with the customer, Sales head, Production Manager and other people involved in arriving the requirements of the contract. 

Co-ordination with the Design department in designing the plant requirements for Customer approval. 

Preparation and Selection of Data sheets for the Equipments, Valves, Instruments and Control Panel items including the PLC, HMI and other electrical components. 

Raising Purchase Indents, Releasing purchase orders and follow-up for the receipt of materials. 

Fabrication support of S.S. Skid, Storage Tanks & Pipe works, supports etc., required for the system as per pharma requirement. 

Co-ordination with the design people for constructing the three dimensional drawing required for the piping of the system 

Assembling of units pertaining to the Skid such as Softener, Cartridge Filter, MPT, High Pressure Pump, R.O.unit, EDI unit, Control panel and other special purpose units as per the client requirement and as per USP-28. 

Co-ordination with the Electrical, Software people for the hook-up activities required in field wiring and Control Panel construction and wiring. 

Creation and conduction of FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TEST (FAT) which is the pre-requirement before dispatch involving both functional and contract requirements. 



Quality Control Engineer

(a) As a Q.C.Engineer, Inspection and Quality Control of the following: 

Fabrication of Pressure vessels / Storage Tanks / Pipe lines made out of MS & SS as per Standards / Third Party Inspection Agency / Client requirements including NDT & Pressure testing Anti-corrosive Rubber lining (Natural & Synthetic) & FRP, PVC coating etc., 

Rotary equipments like Centrifugal Pumps, Electronic Dosing Pumps, Air Blowers, Motors, Slow / High Speed Stirrers etc., 

(b) ISO 9002 Participation: 

Documentation assistance to the Departmental Head in preparation & Amendments of Quality System Procedure, Quality Control Plan, Work Instructions etc. 

Implementation of ISO Procedure at Sub-Contractor premises such as Stage Inspection Report, Measuring & Test Equipment Calibration Procedure etc., 



(c) As a PPC Engineer: 

Planning of M.S. Plates, Pipes, Fittings used for production of Pressure Vessels, Storage Tanks, Pipe works etc., 

Preparation of Cutting Plan for Optimum Utilization of Raw Materials where materials are brought in hundreds of ton for a month. 



Quality Control Engineer

Worked with Sri Balaji Cylinders (P) Ltd., Chennai.

Dealings with BIS Officers for clearances including Raw Material Release, Periodic
