Field Operations Engineer

Aug 2003 to till date 

Hands on experience in commissioning of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Co. polymer and Solvents plant with emphasis on panel and field operations and online troubleshooting.

Carrying out HAZOP studies, Risk assessment analysis.

Planning of regular and periodic maintenance activities with supporting departments.



Client/ Sales Coordination:

Maintaining a documented monthly opportunity funnel as well as Ultimate responsible for sales opportunities across the assigned Accounts. 

Monitoring monthly invoicing for current month and provide forecast for next month.

Sales coordination with head office and supply chain department for distribution against plan 

Tracking regularly competitor activity, current offers of imported grades, customer inventory levels of Resin and finished products

Tracking Key Accounts and MOU Customer lifting on constant follow up on daily basis.

Tracking Commercial and Quality Claims. 

Tracking of Deemed exports and license utilization.



Product Pricing:

Regular and Timely preparation of Price proposals.

Tracking of discounts and special schemes.

Tracking of Deemed exports and license utilization.



Business Plan Activity:

Interaction with Regional Offices / Plant / Business Development Group for finalizing Business Plan.

Finalization and Checking of Regional Month wise / grade wise / site wise and Industry sales estimates.

Coordination with plant team for finalizing production targets, norms etc.



MIS:

Tracking Domestic Industry Demand Supply, Sectoral Consumption and Imports 

Regular Tracking and Updates on Resin and Finished products Imports

Business Plan presentation - inputs related 

RM/ PH meet presentation preparation

Preparing and vetting of fixed price contracts

     

Key Skills: Power User SAP SD and BW Module.

Report writing, Data interpretation and good analytical and reasoning skills, proficient in Ms-Office.
