Automatic Injection Moulding Of Plastic 

Components Using Pneumatics Through Plc. 

Brief Overview of Project : The project is entitled as Automatic Injection Molding Of Plastics Components using pneumatic through PLC was taken up with a view to improve the present system of producing plastic goods. The objective of the system is to reduce the manual work and increase efficiency. 

Earlier, in industry man used to organize, process and control the data with respect to a plant. This requires heavy man power resulting in many errors, thus decreasing the production. So, to improve accuracy and to achieve reliability the concept of automation was introduced. This made the operations easier and operates automatically. 

The incorporated system is built to get continuous production of plastic goods automatically using the concept of automation. This project is backed up with all benefits of low cost automation. This operation can be easily controlled using Programmable Logic Controller (Plc). Appropriate use of sensors, actuators with a suitable PLC program make this operation successful. The purpose of low cost automation is to relieve man from routine tasks this decreasing production cost and production time with a rapid increase in especially in production of plastic goods industries etc..

I did an overall study of the connections to the cylinders and their movement and bought information for the conclusion of the project through internet.
