These materials are commercialized as HMD (high modulus ductile) . A strong interaction with BMW (GERMANY) Techno-commercial team, and HONDA (USA) team to develop better understanding of their requirement and design a product was one of the key achievements in this project. 2006-2008: developed a new material for fuel tanks and SABIC innovative plastics has commercialized these materials as monolayer, Blow molded and injection molding grade for fuel tanks. These materials are launched as commercial Product for small engine, off-road fuel tanks meeting CARB and US-EPA standards. April 2008-October 2008 Sabic Innovative Plastics, MtVernon, IN, USA. Involved in development of material, which has better heat resistance, weatherable, low temp impact performance. This material can be used for making side fenders or front cover of engines in small tractors. Also involved in Bio/green Elastomer for various automotive-non-auto applications. Meetings and discussion with John Deere (USA) techno-commercial team to represent a newly developed product and gain of their interest in product is one of the key achievements in this project.
