Presently working with leading Group of Companies engaged in manufacturing Rayon textiles yarn, Nylon tire cord, Nylon yarn, Caustic Soda, Chlorine, Sulfuric Acid, Hydrochloric Acid, Carbon disulphide

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Manufacturing

Analyse & execute initiatives in process engineering modification/ up gradation, capacity improvement towards achieving twin organizational objectives of productivity & profitability.

Manufacturing of quality Nylon-6 chips & yarn through continuous polymerization  & conventional as well as spin draw extrusion process. Well versed with Twisting & weaving operations also.

Production planning as per marketing requirement.

Co-ordination with engineering section for healthy upkeep of machines, improvement in Quality and Quantity.

OEE improvement through vibrant TPM, quality improvement & employee involvement.

Training of Staff & workforce on lean manufacturing practices.



2. Quality Assurance &  ISO 9002

Compliance of ISO 2000 quality systems. Involved in documentation of ISO procedures & work instructions. Also carried ?Internal Quality Audits? as a trained auditor for ISO systems. Maintain quality standards as per customer requirement through effective process control & use of various quality control tools. Foreseeing performance bottlenecks & taking corrective measures to avoid the same. Hands on experience in handling various quality control tools.



3. Projects.

Active participation in various projects such as -

Waste Reduction Project : A reduction of waste from 12.0 % to 6.3 % achieved. (Saving 3 cores).

Direct Cost Reduction of NTC fabric. A saving of Rs.65 lacks achieved.

Headed the Commissioning Team of the newly erected Polymerisation and Zimmer Spin Draw Winder Plants. It included  all the prestartup jobs including procurement planning, recruitment & training of workforce, designing quality systems & work procedures etc.



4. Material Supply Chain management .

Control of consumption ratios of various high value material. Planning of Annual Budget for capital as well as routine maintenance expenditure.

Very well versed with techniques of Inventory reduction. Extensive experience in developing vendors & ensuring quality procurement as well as timely delivery.



5. Customer support / New business development :

Hands on experience in handling customer relationship management by ensuring quality product & service norms .

Establish an extremely healthy supplier customer relationship with all internal as well as external customers.

Achieve customer satisfaction by acknowledging their concern.
