Company Profile : An ISO 9000:2000 certified company engaged in manufacturing fuel systems. Major supplies to M&M (Nasik, Zahirabad), Toyota and General Motors. They also export products to other countries.

Responsibilities

Handling the materials department, ensured uninterrupted supplies of raw/packing materials with no stock outs.

Managing all activities pertaining to procurement like developing vendors for purchasing the bought out components required for regular automobiles, purchase items on subcontracting basis, finalization of purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers.

Evaluating vendors, quality of material supplied and payments.

Maintaining ROL of the materials on day to day basis to maintain the inventory under control.

Preparing documents related to material movement and co-ordinate paper work (e.g. PPAP Documentation) with factory concerning sourcing & development work; preparation of Purchase order. 

Significant Contributions

Implemented the JIT system in the organization which was highly appreciated.

Devised systems for inventory control to ensure which resulted in reduction of inventory costs.

Sourced various imported auto parts in the Indian market which resulted significant cost savings.
