Production Engineer 

Since August 2007.

Company Profile : An ISO 9001:2000 company. A joint venture with leading Industrial and chemical packaging company.

My Role -:

Process Stability and Trouble shooting of machine.

Man power management and work allotment as per work nature and their     efficiency.

Production Planning and Controlling.

Ensuring continuous improvement in overall process.

Minimization of Scrap generation by using ERP system.

Productivity analysis and improvement by using ERP system.

Ensuring all the Quality standards as per customer needs.

Prevention of plant and field defects.

Ensuring proper allocation of Input and Output material as per their designated place.

Maintaining the ISO standards and their documentation. 

Preventive maintenance as per scheduling of machines.

Breakdown maintenance whenever required.

Arrangement of Internal training programmes for staff whenever required

Machine and Products handled -:

Handling LDPE, HDPE sheets on 110mm Dia Extruder from Taiwan, LDPE Turf from 100 mm Dia Extruder from Taiwan and their lamination to each other to get a complete product of 3S or Rain flaps for automotive sector.          

Also handling PET Co-Extruded sheets with 90mm, 75mm, and 60mm Dia Extruder machine from Techwell, China.

Also responsible for Injection Molding machine of 500 ton and 180 ton of Battenfield, U.K. to produce Pails, lid covers and Bungs for Barrels.

Xpro India Ltd. (Siddharth Birla group) is a multi product and multi located company having an annual turnover of around Rs. 180 crores. It has five manufacturing units in different parts of country. The core activity of company lies in Co-Extrusion viz. manufacturing of BOPP films, Co-Extruded HIPS, ABS, PP and PE sheets and thermoformed components. The Company holds the position as one of the leading player in manufacturing of Co-Extruded HIPS and ABS sheets.

My Role -:

Machine handling and ensuring continual production.

Manpower handling and job allocation as per requirement and order.

Ensuring quality standards as per customer?s need and product specification.

Ensuring proper allocation of input and output material as per their place.

Maintaining production records and other documentation.

Ensuring preventive maintenance on regular basis.

Ensuring breakdown maintenance whenever required.

Machine and Products handled -:

Production of HIPS, ABS Co-Extruded sheets for refrigerator Inner and Door liners for customers like LG, Godrej, Electrolux, Samsung and for export to Colombo, Sharjah. Also handled PP and PE sheet production for Export purpose.

Also responsible for Plug assist Vacuum Thermoforming machine for Refrigerator Door liner and Inner Case for LG Electronics.

Handled the Battenfield machine for CPP and LLDPE film(stretch film) for packaging purpose with customers like Parle-G, MRF tyres, etc.

Achievements ?:    

Active member in installation team of Thermoforming machine at Xpro India Ltd. along with the technicians from Comi, Italy.

Active member in installation team of Sheet line from Holland along with technicians from MEAF, Holland .

Installation of Sheet line and Turf Line at Time technoplast Ltd. Pantnagar.

Successfully integrate the HDPE sheet line and LDPE Turf line for lamination purpose and to minimize the scrap generation.

Successful trial for HDPE foam sheet and reduce the density up to 0.7 g/cc
