PROJECT

Online sampling device .

Online sampling is a technique to extract the required quantity of material from the source of liquid. Hence the device which is used to perform this work is called online sampling device. The main principle is when the system is closed with all valves and inlet is connected to source, vacuum is created by pump. Due to pressure difference between the vacuum chamber which is having partial pressure less than atmospheric pressure. The required condition is that, there shall not be internal and external leakage in whole system.

When the online sampling chamber is closed with all values whose inlet valve is connected to source by pipe, vacuum is created inside the chamber by vacuum pump. This vacuum is measured by vacuum gauge when required quantity of vacuum pressure is attained inside the chamber. The inlet valve is to be opened simultaneously. Due to pressure difference between the chamber and source the suction of liquid will be takes place. So that can be measured by level indicator. Hence the required quantity of liquid can be extract through exit value. This can be applicable in beverage industries, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and chemical industries
